Grace Heathcote is a science communicator with over a decade experience working with non-profit organisations in the ecology, conservation and natural resource management sectors. 

Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, Australian Geographic, Island, Forty South, and TasWeekend. Her academic publications can be found in peer-reviewed journals Conservation Biology, the Journal of Science Communication and Wildlife Research. Her first book, Ecology Matters: Conversations with Australian Ecologists, will be published by CSIRO Publishing in November 2025.
